CVS Pharmacy incompetent! - Pharmacy Customer Service


It took more than two weeks for my husband to get a $50 something dollar refund on an urgent prescription that he was told by Eduardo would only take a day or two. My husband had a prescription for a pain med after breaking his foot and brought in a script that was clearly marked by his primary doctor what the reason for the med was and to please put an urgent tar in. Eduardo told us he had run the tar and it was rejected. When we called the insurance company we were told no tar had been submitted but they could see that the meds were run through the system to be filled. So we went back to CVS and paid out of pocket for the meds. Eduardo again told us he would rerun the tar. On a Friday we were told the tar had been approved so we went in early on Saturday to get the refund and was told by the weekend tech that there was nothing in the system about a refund and that we would have to wait until Monday to talk to Eduardo or Sokom as they were the only two who could help us. It took two weeks to finally get a refund and that was only because we insisted that they do something. The Pharmacy kept blaming it on the insurance company, but finally when we spoke to Sokom she was so rude! We told her of our concern and the only reply she had was, "yeah,yeah" as if to say, " I don't care and don't want to hear it" We felt lied to, we felt that the communication between the weekend shift and the weekday shift was intolerable. If our refund was approved anyone should have been able to give us our money and the condescending attitude we received from Sokom was beyond rude. Something has got to change! Maybe a training on GOOD customer service would be helpful.
