It took forever for them to tell me "We can't fill your Prescription"


I had my Humira on automatic refill at CVS when Obamacare kicked in and moved it over to a Specialty medication. After going to pick up a script that should have been already filled for over a week but never receiving a call that it was filled I went to CVS to check on it. It hadn't been refilled and was on "hold" for a week already. After 2 weeks of jumping though all of CVS's hoops of needing "doctor prior authorization" and them faxing it to the wrong doctor then to the right doctors office but not the fax number. Then getting the "doctors prior authorization" they sit on it for another 2 days before I ask to order it again... for the 5th time! Knowing that they need to order it in I wait a day and a half before stopping in to pick it up...for the 6th time only to be told that it needs to be ordered through their Specialty Pharmacy and would I like to order it? Which they did when I asked them too for the 6th time and was told that the Specialty Pharmacy would call me in a day or 2. They never did! Went back to the local CVS Pharmacy 3 days later to get a phone # to call. Called CVS Specialty Pharmacy direct and talked to a person there and got the run around until she said that it hadn't even been processed yet. Talked to a supervisor and she said they would expedite it. She called back a 1/2 hour later and said they couldn't fill it. All said and done 3 weeks of messing around with CVS and 2 weeks over due for a shot and I still don't have it.
